The thing that I love the most about the way Lily portrayed possessed Mary Eunice is that it seems so new. Like it seems Satan is always a man, always. But Lily’s version of Satan it’s like…like she exudes this kind of androgyny.

In the “You Don’t Own Me” scene, she’s twirling around, almost admiring how feminine and lovely she looks, especially in red lingerie, but it’s the Devil in her doing it. That to me was the most pivotal part in determining the sexual aspect of things. Like the constant use of sex appeal in scenes with Arden. And sometimes there’s this masculine “I’m in charge and all of you will pay if you don’t do what I tell you” complex.

I dunno I just find that her take on this old idea is really refreshing and interesting and tbh I think it’s one of my favorite parts of Asylum.

hey lets play how hot is that character

Every scene with Misty Day [40/?]

Make me choose: Misty Day or Nora Montgomery

"Pepper, leave the lady alone."
"It’s fine, she was only trying to make friends. It was harmless."
She’s not harmless, she drowned her sister’s baby and sliced his ears off.”
